Episode Description:
Shishio meets with a subordinate, Hoji, to discuss their next course of action. When Hoji disagrees with using the Ten Swords against Kenshin, Cho, a member of the group, learns of Kenshin's failed attempt to receive a new weapon from Seiku and goes after his father's final katana. Cho threatens Seiku and his wife Azusa into revealing that the katana is housed in a temple, taking their son Iori hostage. While initially going to convince Seiku, Misao learns about Cho's actions and sends a message through Okina's network. Upon learning of this, Kenshin rushes to the temple and faces Cho, allowing him to take the katana in exchange of Iori's safety. Cho refuses and plans to test the katana on Iori, leading the two to fight. Kenshin destroys his array of katanas and jabs him in the stomach with his scabbard. However, Cho continues to stand and reveals he was protected by another katana, wrapped around armor across his stomach.
