Description

Tsunan & Nishiki Paintings Kenshin confronts Sanosuke and Tsukioka in Tokyo. After several failed attempts to defeat the former Ishin Shishi, Sanosuke knocks out Tsukioka and leaves all of his friend's bombs to be hidden by Kenshin. In the aftermath, a furious Tsukioka feels betrayed and attempts suicide but Sanosuke tries to stop him. After a brief fight, Sanosuke convinces Tsukioka to avoid causing mayhem in the city as the Meiji era taught him that there are several people that are trying to live like his friends and a suicide would not affect the current state. Afterwards, Tsukioka gives and decides to start writing a newspaper that criticizes the government. In the post-credits scene, former Ishin Shishi Ōkubo Toshimichi discusses the recent attack but discards the possibility of "Shishio" being the cause of it due to a lack of casualties.
