Realizing he has only a few minutes until Sirius' attack, Subaru rushes over to the tower in an attempt to rescue the kid, Lusbel, learning that she also has captured his friend, Tina. However, Subaru finds himself inexplicably overcome by Lusbel's intense emotions, stalling him long enough for Sirius to arrive and hang Subaru down the tower with her metal chain, killing him. Respawning once again, Subaru decides to seek Reinhard's help, getting Rachins from Felt's camp to summon him...
