Sometime earlier, Rimuru makes plans for the tournament and has Shion, Diablo, and Benimaru become part of a group called the Elite Four, but forbids them from entering the competition as they would easily win. He also decides that whoever wins the tournament will either become the fourth member of the Elite Four or will be allowed to fight him.
