Description

To Kyoto, Once More Disappointed by his non-lethal fighting, Shishio refuses to battle Kenshin, claiming his pacifism will prevent him from ever winning. Before leaving, he allows for Sojiro to fight the swordsman and gives him his Nagasone Kotetsu katana. Understanding that Sojiro is a highly unpredictable opponent with no chi, Kenshin engages Shishio's righthand man through a battōjutsu clash, drawing their blades as fast as possible. This results in the destruction of Kenshin's sakabatō and Sojiro's katana. Sojiro then escapes back to Shishio, who orders him to gather the "Ten Swords" in order to bring back Kenshin's dark side. Saito stops Eiji from killing the unconscious Senkaku, with Kenshin and Misao comforting the orphan. With the two free from Shishio's men, Saito decides to have his wife take care of Eiji while Kenshin and Misao continue their journey to Kyoto. In the post credit scene, Sanosuke is still lost on his journey to Kyoto.
