Following Okina's defeat, Aoshi confronts his former allies in regards to Kenshin's location but decides to return to Shishio's headquarters upon being confronted by Yahiko and Kaoru. In the aftermath, Megumi is able to treat Okina who remains in a comatose state after the fight. Misao then reads Okina's last will which was involves her living as a normal girl which causes her instead to demand to revive to Oniwaban to defeat Shishio even if Aoshi is an enemy. Meanwhile, Saito finds that Sanosuke is imprisoned in order to find him easier but he ignores his demands of a rematch...
