Yahiko's Battle Curious about Yahiko's absences from his classes, Kenshin, Kaoru, and Sanosuke find him working into the Akabeko restaurant alongside a young girl, Tsubame. Threatened by a group of thieves, Tsubame gives them a replicated key to rob the place; Yahiko's attempts to stop them prove unsuccessful. Despite Kaoru's and Sanosuke's complaints, Kenshin convinces them to let Yahiko handle the situation himself rather than rely on others.
