Description

Okashira – Aoshi Shinomori Shinomori easily overpowers Kenshin with his kenpo fighting style and shorter kodachi. After Kenshin understands his technique, he grips his sakabatō by its blade to shorten his range and manages to wound Shinomori. The Oniwaban tries to kill his enemy with his strongest move, the Kaiten Kenbu, but Kenshin reads it and counterattacks. Both fighters fall to the floor with Shinomori briefly losing consciousness and Kenshin refusing to kill him. Accepting his defeat, Shinomori explains he wants to bring the rejected Oniwaban their works, but only Kanryu accepted them. They are then interrupted by Kanryu who tries to kill them with a Gatling gun, wounding Shinomori's legs. Sanosuke, Hannya, and Shikijo arrive to stop Kanryu; Shikijo uses his body as a shield to protect his leader but is caught in the gun-fire.
