Regulus Corneas Emilia heads to the church, asking Regulus' wives for assistance in defeating him. Through her pleading and her desire to understand and help them all, 184, who reveals her real name is Slyphy, breaks down, with she and the rest of the wives admitting how much they hate him. Emilia reveals to them their role as apart of Regulus' "kingdom", and discovers that Regulus plants his heart into the heart of those he considers his brides, with the heart currently fused to Slyphy's. They all, as well as Subaru, realize the only way to stop his heart would be the stop the heart its connected to, and since they are aware it would just be transferred to another wife if Slyphy died, they all decide to kill themselves to stop him...
