Goh reunites with his Eternatus and chooses to leave it under Leon's care. Afterwards, Ash and Goh revisit the place where Goh had first met his Cinderace, leading them to reconnect with Cinderace's former friends. After a confrontation with Team Rocket, Goh is summoned by Project Mew, forcing him to miss Ash's final battle with Leon. The two promise to be smiling when they meet again.
