It is revealed Anubis hates Sariphi because he thinks she seduced Leonhart just to save herself. Sariphi looks for new books to read. Anubis leads her to a library, then tries to kill her when they are alone. He is foiled when books fall on him and knock him out. He has a flashback of his past. As a child, he was named Sirius. His father, the previous Anubis, sacrificed himself to save the previous king from assassins...
