Episode Description:
A middle school girl ventures into the woods to return a ring to a white owl she helped, following the instructions he gave her in a dream. There she meets a strange boy (Takashi) and his talking lucky cat (Nyanko-sensei) who help her to find the white owl. Takashi returns his name, Hidaki, to him, and the yōkai who took on the form of said owl wipes the girl's memory of their encounter. She awakens to find herself on a bench, but cannot remember how she had ended up there. She wonders where the pretty blue stone came from, which is a fragment of the ring per Hidaki's gratitude for her kindness.
