Description

The Fragment's Lament Having received a sacred cherry tree's ash from a yōkai whose name he returned, Takashi molds pottery clay into Master Kitty-Cat, which later is inhabited by a yōkai that was once a large white bird Buddha statue in a priest's home. He wants Takashi to give it a teacup for easier traveling and let him borrow the clay vessel a little longer until he can return to his original body. Nyanko-sensei translates his words for Takashi, as he speaks with his mind. Things become difficult as the clay vessel begins to break and is being hunted down by other yōkai who find it scary. Fortunately, it is able to drive his pursuers off, and thanks Takashi for his aid. The bird statue is revealed to have been broken due to kids accidentally throwing their baseball at the window. The Priest thanks them for their honesty, and assures them that it was just "it's time".
