After encountering a necromancer she could not defeat alone, she was rescued by them. In the present, Leo and Fred viciously battle. Max feigns indifference until the Demon Lord provokes him into losing his temper, revealing he is desperate to do something but he would be forced to kill either Fred or Leo himself...
