Asahi tries to go on a flower gathering quest, but Sophie insists on joining them. Asahi sends Sophie to search with Maya so he can search alone. He is attacked by goblins then rescued by Kilmaria who had been following him from a desire to be close to him. They stumble across Malvekanth the necromancer, servant of General Woodvoss, attacking a village. Malvekanth mistakenly believes Kilmaria is there to help him kill humans. Kilmaria, worried what Asahi thinks of her, kills Malvekanth instead...
