Yusaku is asked to solve a series of locked room murders in a TV show but suddenly falls ill to food poisoning on the day of the broadcast. Yukiko, his wife, disguises herself, takes his place, and reviews the details of the crimes with Conan. Yukiko falls ill as well, and someone disguised as Yusako arrives at the manor. Believing it is Kid (who wants to repay Yusako for clearing his name when he was falsely accused of crimes he did not commit), Conan enlists him with the case. They are interviewed by reporter Saiko Yumekawa...
