Description
This season includes one of the most iconic episodes: “Blue Harvest,” a full-length parody of Star Wars: A New Hope. The series continues its trend of experimental storytelling and visual gags. Peter’s behavior becomes more destructive and unpredictable. Stewie’s villainy is toned down slightly in favor of emotional development and vulnerability. Several episodes parody real-life events, such as immigration debates and religious fanaticism. Brian continues to struggle with his place in the world and his writing career. Meg and Chris remain underused but occasionally get focused stories. The show walks a fine line between creativity and controversy.
